So Microsoft wants to make a movie version of Halo, because you know movie versions of games have been such a good idea in the past. This is not to say they didn't make money (which is obviously the driving factor here), but they haven't exactly been wonderful additions to popular culture have they.

I would say there goes my faith in Hollywood, but to be perfectly honest, I never really had any faith in Hollywood.

Best movie version of Halo? Red Vs. Blue. They don't need to make a live action version. Really, they don't. They could do it much cheaper by hiring the Rooster Teeth guys to do it. Hell, the guys at Bungie already have some deal with the RT guys anyway.

Not like it's going to happen anyway: Wired News pointed out about a month ago that the Cat Piss Men overseeing the whole Halo project at Microsoft's end are making such ridiculous demands that every studio that was interested initially is running like hell. It may come out, but I see another Dungeons & Dragons in our future, and I'm now gladder than ever that I no longer write for movie magazines.
